Destinate is excited to be working with South Africa's favourite road trip pitstop, Peregrine Farm Stall, on the launch of their brand new cafe and the re-launch of their online platforms.
Locals might remember that owner Justin Burls and his family experienced some bad luck at the beginning of 2014 when their cafe caught fire and burned down in the night. Fast forward a few months (and a lot of work) and the Peregrine team is ready to welcome travellers into their bright and airy new space. You’ll find all your old favourites along with a few soon-to-be-favourites on the menu and free wifi, fresh pressed Elgin Valley apple juice and Origin coffee on the side.
Part of the journey since 1964, Peregrine will be launching their new cafe with an exciting campaign leading up to the school holidays. Over the next few weeks they will be running competitions across their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts where they’ll be giving away mystery spot prizes and a grand prize of an Elgin experience for the whole family!
Join the #peregrinejourney conversation and share your favourite Peregrine staples, favourite road trip playlist and your must-have padkos snacks and you could be a lucky winner.
If you plan on attending the HOPE Concert at Paul Cluver on the 29th of November, don’t forget to stock up on Peregrine’s famous quiches, traditional milk tart, pecan nut pie, fresh pressed Elgin Valley apple juice, homemade pies, mouth-watering mosbolletjies, muffins, biltong & droewors (made by Justin’s dad), Erwin’s sausages from Hermanus and other locally sourced goods.
So feel free to reminisce about your favourite road trips over the years, daydream about the favourite Peregrine flavours , dig out your long-lost road trip pictures and spend hours compiling the all-important road trip playlist, and share it with us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram by tagging #peregrinejourney.
